Membership Details

The UQ Karate Club trains 49 weeks of the year. You are invited to try out the training and the club atmosphere for two free lessons. Training is held in the UQSport Martial Arts Gymnasium three times per week, at the following times:

The Chief Instructor will be more than happy to answer any of your queries. Please feel free to simply turn up at any of the above times to avail of your free lessons, or if you simply want to watch first! Please wear loose-fitting clothing, or your Karate-Gi If you have trained in another style. If you wish to continue training with us, fees can be paid per class, per month, or per semester (six months). For those wishing to train on a regular basis, paying per semester is the most economical option. The membership fees are listed below.
